Marcel Hochet – Chief Executive Officer

Founded GreenElec after over 40 years in the electricity industry. A former Country President of Schneider Electric (SE) Nigeria and Ecowas for over a decade, Mr. Hochet held various executive positions within the SE group across the globe. For over 25 years, he has been a Foreign Trade Advisor for the French government and was previously the Chairman of the Franco-Nigerian Chamber of Commerce. As the country president of S.E., he pioneered some of the first rural electrification projects in Nigeria, and with the Federal Ministry of Power in Nigeria, executed and implemented the first ever solar electricity pilot under the Operation Lightup Rural Nigeria Scheme, commissioned by the former President of Nigeria.

Comes to Greenelec with over 25 years of technical and management experience. Prior to joining Greenelec, Dr. Okorogu held progressively responsible positions, both in the United States and Nigeria, leading Nigeria’s Federal organizations and US Defense-related outfits through growth modes, having served as: the Executive Director, Niger Delta Power Holding Company of Nigeria; Senior Special Advisor to the Minister of Power on Renewable Energy/Access-to-Power; National Coordinator, Operation Lightup Rural Nigeria Initiative; and Head, New Optics/Holography, The Aerospace Corporation/US Air Force. He is credited with over 35 US patents, and have a PhD in Optical Engineering from Alabama University, USA.

Dr Babou Bako – Chief Technical Officer

Joined Greenelec after serving as Vice-President, Projects and Services, Schneider Electric Nigeria. Prior to joining Schneider, Dr. Bako held various executive engineering positions in West & Central Africa and Europe. A former Professor of Electrical Engineering, he holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering.

Co-founded Greenelec after spending 15 years managing web development production teams in leading digital agencies in Paris and London. He worked with a host of industries and innovative brands developing digital tools, platforms and communication strategies. Mr. Hochet holds a masters degree in E-Commerce and is graduated from Grenoble Business School in France. Olivier is in charge of the company strategy, product development as well as Marketing and Communication. Olivier is a strong advocate of distributed energy and biomimetic approach to solar energy.

Chinwe Udo-Davis – HR Director

Chinwe Udo-Davis – HR Director

Chinwe Udo-Davis is highly skilled and personable Human Resources generalist providing strategic and operational HR planning and execution at the Management level of the company. She holds an Msc degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Guildford, Surrey in England and is a member of the chartered institute of personnel and development UK.
With over 15 years’ in practice, Chinwe has extensive work experience in start-up, mid-level, mature and multinational organizations in the UK, Nigeria and West Africa spreading across sectors such as Power, Oil and Gas, Construction, Media, Micro Finance and Renewable Energy.

Anietie Edem – Chief Finance Officer

Anietie Edem is a versatile Finance and Investment Analyst, Management and Tax expert spanning over 25 years. He holds a Bsc in Accounting from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State and a Masters Degree holder in Business Administration; he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria(CITN), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (CIS), a full member of the Portfolio Management Institute of Nigeria as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Loan & Risk Management of Nigeria.
Anietie has held senior position in various Multi-national companies such as Schneider Electric and Heidelberg here in Nigeria and has interacted with various people and systems in different contexts.
Prior to joining GreenElec Integrated Power Solutions Limited as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Anietie was the CFO of Pivot Capital Limited, a registered fund manager with Securities & Exchange Commission and one of the foremost stock-brokerage firm licensed by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
